It was quite warm at the park today (bring on the slush !).
Dogs were playing, chasing, rolling in puddles and generally doing “doggy” things.
So was Arlo !
His “doggy” thing involves watching the ball you are holding…lazering in on every silicone fibre… blocking everything else out… and waiting.
Waiting for any flinch or hint from the thrower…
Waiting for any indication of direction or trajectory…
Waiting…
Then bam! Arlo and the ball take off at the same time… one fleeing… one chasing…!
The ball searches for places to hide
Skipping, bouncing, flying, meandering…,
Ruthless, relentless…the end is inevitable…
Arlo always gets his ball !!
And has a jolly good time doing so…!!
